Let’s introduce Angers !

Geography:The city of Angers is composed of 350.000 inhabitants. It is situated near Nantes and Tours. St Augustin is 5 minutes in bus from the city centre where you can visit a lot of monuments.


Activities:You can visit the Castle of Angers, the museum “Les Beaux Art.”

With a lot of shops, restaurants, concert halls, Angers is a very dynamic city.

If you enjoy sports, don’t worry, you can play a lot of sorts of sports, as:

Basketball, climbing, water sports (rowing, swimming…) and horse riding…

In family the “Puy Du Fou” and “Futuroscope” are really amazing theme parks.

Furthermore, this year the theme park about ecology: “Terra Botanica” opened his door.

Travels: Paris is 1h30 away from Angers, with the train station St Laud travelling is easy.

If you prefer going abroad, Angers has got an airport.


Specialities:The specialities of this town are the “Quernons d’ardoise” and the “grey slate”.

You can visit the vine and other alcohol industries such as “Bouvais Ladubay” and “Cointreaux”.


Futur:The tram project began in 2008 and will be finished in 2011-2012 to travel more easily than before, and this is ecologic.
